Do I have to use the USI Wireless modem to receive a signal?

A wireless modem issued by USI Wireless is required for indoor usage in order to obtain the highest level of service. We have worked very closely with the modem manufacturers to ensure the highest levels of interoperability and through a rigorous testing system they have been certified on our network. However, for outdoor use, 99% of the wireless modems and devices meeting the 802.11b/g WiFi certification should work with our network.
